Yiannis Vardaxoglou

Yiannis is a friend of mine for many years. He is a photographer in Athens Greece and he specializes in weddings. In 2009 we first discussed the idea of a website for his business, an idea that became true a year later. His site focuses on usability for both himself and his visitors. The design is very simple, he insisted on that, so as not to steal attention from the photos. Special attention was given to make the content easily shareable through Facebook which Yiannis uses for promoting his work. The technology used is compatible with (almost) every computer/browser combination, including smartphones (iphones etc). We avoided Flash in all areas except the video-streaming, in order to achieve the outmost compatibility while we spiced up the front page using some jQuery scripts.
